Printed Tickets
State Railways of Thailand (SRT) only accepts printed tickets for travel on trains. When you purchase a train ticket for travel from Bangkok through Thailand Trains a ticket is purchased by our agent from the SRT and either kept for you at an office near Bangkok Train Station or sent to an address of your choosing. You need the actual ticket to travel as the SRT does not accept electronic vouchers.
Bangkok Ticket Collection
Once in receipt of the electronic voucher for a train journey starting in Bangkok you have the option of either:
- Collecting the the actual Train Ticket from the collection point near Bangkok Train Station. Read more about collecting your ticket in Bangkok.
- Getting your Train Ticket sent by Post to your home address.
- Getting the Train Ticket posted to an address in Thailand, such as a hotel, where you can collect the ticket before you travel.
